| May 13, 2001 - Melbourne,
Australia -- Today is
Mother's Day so we have decided to honor our mom, Pat
Herron, by dedicating this site to one of the world's greatest mothers.
Since we can't be home in the states to honor Pat, we thought that we would try to put our
sentiments onto the web in hopes that Pat (aka Mom) will see it and know just
how much we love her! Now, on with our tribute... |

We thought
it only appropriate that DAVA have a place on our site.
As the mother of our Mom, she played an integral part in helping our Mom become who she is today. It is unfortunate that Randy did not get the chance to meet her, she passed away 2 months prior to the start of our relationship. |

| Here are a
few of Mom's pastimes.
Okay, the USPS is her job but she spends a large percentage of her time there. We wanted to post a picture of Mom in her postal vehicle but could not obtain such a photograph! :) Mom has season tickets to the Village Theatre in Issaquah and has a passion for the Mariner's. Ichiro has not replaced A-Rod's place in her heart but I think he's gaining ground! |

PAT and DON -- One of Pat's great accomplishments is her commitment to her husband and family. Married 35 years, Pat and Don are a symbol of stability and have worked to keep our family close -- something rare in today's culture. |

DONNIE and
JANELLA -- Pat's eldest son Donnie has been married for 2 1/2 years to
Janella. Donnie and Janella live in the Tacoma area and have two
wonderful boys Jarrett and Tyler that are a great source of joy and humor
to them.
Donnie is extremely creative and skilled with his hands, completing electrical, plumbing and exterior work for several companies. Janella has recently enrolled at Pierce College and manages an apartment complex. |

| ERIC --
Pat's second son, Eric, is an Analyst with Safeco Insurance, working in
the corporate tower in Seattle. Eric has been very successful at
Safeco and continues to progress in his career.
Eric has an extremely active lifestyle as he enjoys rollerblading, hiking, volleyball and biking among other outdoor sports. He is also a sports fan, attending Sonics and Mariner's games on a regular basis. |

RANDY and
HEIDI -- Yes, that's us!
As the only daughter of Pat, Heidi has grown very close to her Mom during her adult years, considering her one of her closest friends. Randy and Heidi have been married two years as of this past March and are loving every minute of it! Since Heidi and Randy were married, they have been blessed to have been able to travel to Baltimore, Florida, Hawaii, Dallas, Victoria, Germany and now Australia! Randy works as a Network Administrator at Attachmate Corp and Heidi is a Sales Manager at ADIC. |

My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her. - George Washington By and large, mothers
and housewives are the only workers who do not have regular time off. They
are the great vacationless class. |

THE
GRANDKIDS -- Not only is Pat a great mother, she is also a GRAND Mother.
Tyler and Jarrett have brought Pat great happiness. Since Don And Pat live so close to their grandkids, they are able to see them on a weekly basis. Tyler will be 10 this week. Ty loves to collect fossils and ride his unicycle. He even performs in a school sponsored group called Pacers. Jarrett just turned 4 and is quite the clown! He enjoys all kinds of music and loves LarryBoy from the Veggie Tales (see picture below.) |

| Please take a look at these great photos of Pat and her family. As the matriarch of the Herron family, she is someone everyone looks to for advice, consolation and companionship. She is a great role model for strength and unconditional love as can be seen in these photos. | ||||

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY PAT! |
||||
![]() Proverbs 31:26-28 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household. And eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. |

| For those
of you that do not know our Mom personally, we hope you have gained a
sense of how important she is to our family and how much we love
her. For those who do, please join us in wishing Pat a well
deserved, Happy Mother's Day!
We love you, Heidi and Randy |
